Set inside a 400 year old haunted building, nestling in the heart of the medieval city of Canterbury you will find a wonderful tearoom/restaurant offering a relaxed, comfortable and warm welcome. With a 1930′s inspired atmosphere, crystal chandeliers and the best choice of teas in town, Tiny Tim’s Tearoom will transport you back to a bygone time where you can shelter from the bustle of the city and de-stress with the freshest baked scones and cakes, refreshing tea and coffee or warming hot chocolates and delicious lunches, snacks, cream teas and, of course, our infamous Afternoon Tea all made by ourselves in-house.

Tiny Tim’s Tearoom is a small family owned business run by husband and wife team Jo and Phil. We take care to provide you with an attentive service in a relaxing atmosphere and provide high quality produce. All our food is prepared from scratch on site by our chefs and bakers and we pride ourselves on the quality and taste of our food.

We serve and sell the finest selection of loose leaf teas from all over the world. We offer black, green, white, semi-fermented, caffeine free and fruit tisanes and are sure you will find something to wet your whistle. We also serve excellent award winning rainforest alliance coffee served in a cafetiere.

Once a month we host ‘The Pudding Society’, an evening of pudding delight where you are tempted by a parade of seven different traditional puddings which you can spend the evening attempting to try each one. Check out the Pudding Society page for more information and you can buy tickets online.

Our online shop offers you the chance to purchase some of our tearoom merchandise, some of our most popular teas and gift vouchers which make great presents for any occasion.

We are open 6 days a week, 50 weeks of the year and are always pleased to welcome new customers.
